ROPE-76-5A-1 Rope Fixture
The Starrett ROLLER-76-5 Series is a 5kN (1125lbf) capacity test fixture ideal for testing the tensile strength ofrope, filament, string, yarns, etc.The test fixture consists of a 40mm diameter guide roller which is used to wrap the sample around.The maximum sample diameter for this fixture is 5mm.The sample is tightened to the test fixture with a clamping rubber jaw.During tension, the guide roller generates a slow notch-free stress ensuring that the sample does not break in theroller or clamping area.The ROLLER-76-5 is supplied in pairs (upper and lowergrip).
