ROPE-76-20S-1 Rope Fixture
The Starrett ROPE-76-20S-1 Series is a 20kN (4495lbf) capacity test fixture ideal for testing the tensile strength ofrope, filament, string, yarns, etc.The test fixture consists of a 94mm diameter guide roller which is used to wrap the sample around.The maximum sample diameter for this fixture is 9mm.The sample is tightened to the test fixture with a clamping pyramid jaw.During tension, the guide roller generates a slow notch-free stress ensuring that the sample does not break in theroller or clamping area.The ROPE-76-20S-1 is supplied in pairs (upper and lowergrip).
